Free Download Microsoft Windows Server 2019 offers new capabilities for hybrid cloud environments, including a redesigned Windows Admin Center, to support customers with their cloud switching. In addition, the security was boosted with, among other things, shielded virtual machines, Windows Defender Advanced Threat Protection, and Defender Exploit Guard.
There are four main places where you can invest in Windows Server 2019. Here’s a look at each one.
Windows Server 2019 and Windows Admin Center will make it easier for our customers to connect Azure to systems they already have on-premises. Windows Admin Center makes it easy for Windows Server 2019 users to use Azure services like Azure Backup and Azure Site Recovery. Over time, more services will be added.
Our customers still put a lot of value on security, and we’re committed to helping them improve their security. This trip began with Windows Server 2016. Windows Server 2019 builds on that strong base and adds some security tools that are the same as Windows 10, like Defender ATP for server and Defender Exploit Guard. Containers are becoming more popular as coders and operations teams learn how useful it is to run in this new way. We have been busy with the Semi-Annual Channel releases as well as the work we did on Windows Server 2016. All of this work comes together in Windows Server 2019. Linux containers on Windows, the work on the Windows Subsystem for Linux (WSL), and the smaller container files are all examples.
Hyper-converged architecture (HCI):
You should think about HCI if you want to change your physical or host server architecture. With this new deployment approach, you can put computing, storage, and networking on the same nodes. This lowers the cost of the infrastructure while still improving performance, scalability, and dependability.
To make things run faster, Microsoft has cut down container pictures even more. The Server Core units are still only a third of the size they were at first. Support for Kubernetes and Linux containers on Windows has been added, and compatible apps have been made better.
